The video production team that produced Wetlands, Birds, and Bears A Louisiana Happening was honored at todays Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Commission meeting. 

Joel Courtney, Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) audio and visual manager; Thomas Gresham, LDWF Public Information Office assistant director; and David Telesco of the Black Bear Conservation Committee (BBCC), were given the award on behalf of the Natural Resources Conservation Committee (NRCS), Ducks Unlimited, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the BBCC. 

The video was part of an Aug. 29 presentation to the White House Conference on Cooperative Conservation in St. Louis. The theme focused on the partnership between landowners, state and federal governments and non-governmental organizations in the conservation of wetlands.  Don Gohmert, NRCS, Paul Davidson, BBCC, Ray Aycock, USFWS and Curtis Hopkins, Ducks Unlimited delivered the presentation to the conference.
