LOUISIANA WILDLIFE AND FISHERIES COMMISSION MOVES FORWARD WITH RECREATIONAL AND COMMERCIAL TRIPLETAIL REGULATIONS

August 1, 2013 - Today, the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Commission approved a Notice of Intent to establish recreational and commercial regulations for the harvest of tripletail. 
 
The proposed regulations would establish a recreational bag limit of five fish per day at a minimum total length of 18 inches.  Proposed commercial regulations would establish a 100 pound commercial trip limit, with no more than one trip per day, also with a minimum total length of 18 inches.
