LDWF Summer Day Camp Registration- Baton Rouge

LDWF will be hosting two Summer Day Camps in Baton Rouge at the Waddill Outdoor Education Center from June 23-27 and July 21-25 free of charge for kids 12 to 16 years old.  If your child is one of the 25 selected for each camp, parents or a guardian must be able to drop off their child between 7 and 8 a.m. and then pick up their child between 4 and 5 p.m. every day of the camp.

At the camp each child will receive the boating and hunting education courses, hands on fishing, shooting and boating instructions, free daily lunches, a free rod and reel combo donated by Cabella’s of Gonzales.

LDWF will select participants for the camps that have not completed a boater’s or hunter’s education course and those that have the least amount of hunting, fishing and boating experience.  Those selected for the camps will be notified by email.

The camps will be held at LDWF's Waddill Outdoor Education Center located at 4142 N. Flannery Rd. in Baton Rouge.

Please fill out the online registration forms located below for the camp you want your child to attend by May 26.
