A Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries enforcement agent cited a Kenner man for an alleged littering violation on Sept. 5 in St. John Parish.

LDWF Agent Mason Castello cited Pedro Erasmo Diaz, 68, of Kenner, for Gross Littering.

Agent Costello was on patrol in St. John Parish when he found a large litter pile under Interstate 66 in Ruddock.  After further inspection, Agent Costello found multiple forms of documentation linked to Diaz.

Gross littering carries up to a $900 fine, up to 30 days in jail and 16 hours of community service in a litter abatement program.
