Woodworth Outdoor Education Center
Beginning June 1, 2022, visitors must have a WMA Access Permit, Senior Hunting/Fishing License, Louisiana Sportsman's Paradise License, or a Lifetime Hunting/Fishing License to visit an LDWF WMA, Refuge, or Conservation Area, including Shooting Ranges, for any reason—boating, hiking, bird watching, berry picking, fishing, hunting, shooting, etc. The WMA Access Permit only covers access onto the property—it does NOT convey hunting or fishing privileges. Beginning July 1, 2022, all visitors must also comply with self-clearing permit guidelines.

Description
No private reservations are allowed at Woodworth Outdoor Education Center. Only governmental entities, outdoor education volunteers teaching Hunter Education courses, and conservation-affiliated organizations can reserve the classroom for educational presentations. Examples of outdoor-affiliated organizations include Master Naturalists, Scouts, etc. This facility is heavily utilized for departmental training and departmental education events, therefore, availability is limited and reservation accommodations may not be available.
Woodworth facilities cannot be reserved for parties or any fundraising activity.
We do not allow pets, water slides, bounce houses, volleyball nets, or the use of any motorized transportation on the grounds and trails.
