Dec. 20, 2016 – The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries has closed Camp Bayou Road at the Dewey W. Wills Wildlife Management Area due to flooding. A parking area is located near the gate, and the road may be accessed by ATV/UTV only.
The road will be reopened once the water recedes and necessary repairs are made.
Dewey W. Wills WMA is located in the southern portion of LaSalle and Catahoula parishes in central Louisiana, approximately 20 miles northeast of Alexandria. For more information on the WMA, go to: http://www.wlf.louisiana.gov/wma/2753 .
