The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries and the Caldwell Parish Police Jury (CPPJ) will hold a public meeting June 11 at 6:30 p.m. at the CPPJ meeting room to receive public comment on a proposal by CPPJ to raise the water level on Lake Lafourche.
 
The CPPJ meeting room is located at 201 Main Street, Suite 5, in Columbia. Representatives from LDWF and CPPJ will be present to take questions and comments from the public on the proposal. These comments will be considered by LDWF and CPPJ before any decision is made.
