This format is recommended for students 14 years of age and older. This online with field day format consists of two parts: an online class that can be taken at the student’s own pace, followed by a 5-hour field-day class. The online portion of this course costs $34.95 through the online course provider. You MUST print, sign, and bring proof of online course completion with you to the field day.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE REGISTERING UNDER YOUR OWN ACCOUNT. If you are registering your child for this class they must be registered under their own account. This home-study format consists of two parts: an online class, followed by a 3-hour Field Day course. All students must complete the online portion prior to the Field Day course scheduled, and bring the online certificate of completion printed and signed to attend Field Day training to be certified. The Field Day course is to ensure students can demonstrate proper firearm handling skills in a safe and respectful manner. Participants who complete and pass the field day training will be certified the same day with a temporary Hunter's Safety Education Certificate. A permanent certification will be emailed to the email address used at registration in approximately 2 weeks. Students are NOT to bring any firearms to the course. All firearms and other materials will be provided. Lunch will not be necessary for this field day course. Breaks will be taken throughout instruction and snacks and water are permitted. Parents will be allowed into the classroom if seating is available and on the range during instruction. Parents/Guardians not taking the class for certification purposes need not register as registration seating is limited.
