The bridge that crosses Bayou Natchitoches leading to Cas Cas Road on Grassy Lake Wildlife Management Area (WMA) is indefinitely closed until further notice due to a failed inspection, the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) announced.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) ordered the closure of the bridge, which is owned by Avoyelles Parish, following the failed inspection.
Grassy Lake WMA is located in northeastern Avoyelles Parish, approximately 12 miles from Bordelonville, Louisiana.
