Cas-cas Road in Grassy Lake Wildlife Management Area (WMA) will close Tuesday (Dec. 27) to vehicular traffic to convert the road to an ATV/UTV trail, the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) announced. Converting the road to an ATV/UTV trail is necessary to prevent further damage to it.
LDWF reminds motorist that they are to remain on the rocked portion of all roads and trails and shoulders are only to be utilized to allow safe passage of oncoming traffic or parking.
Grassy Lake WMA is located in northeastern Avoyelles Parish, approximately 12 miles from Bordelonville, Louisiana.
