The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries is partnering with the Lake Providence Watershed Council and the East Carroll Bass Club to collect Christmas trees for use in a fisheries enhancement project on Lake Providence. The trees will be placed in various locations throughout the lake to provide much-needed cover for popular game fish such as bass, crappie, and bream.

Trees, with all decorations removed, may be dropped off at the designated area of the Bryerly Airport Boat Ramp (850 Philips Street, Lake Providence, LA) any time of day from December 26, 2024, through January 15, 2025.
