The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries would like to remind anglers that the season for the recreational harvest of Gray Triggerfish and Greater Amberjack will close at 11:59 p.m. on May 31 as part of a seasonal closure.  The Gray Triggerfish season will reopen on August 1, 2024, and Greater Amberjack on September 1, 2024.
