LDWF announces road openings in Richard K. Yancey Wildlife Management Area

he Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries has re-opened the following roads to vehicle traffic at the Richard K. Yancey Wildlife Management Area (WMA):  Lac a Sostien, Dobbs Bay, and Blount Roads.

All roads within the Mississippi River Batture also are open at this time.

Richard K. Yancey WMA is located approximately 35 miles south of Ferriday on La. Hwy. 15 in lower Concordia Parish.
