The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) will be hosting a non-motorized houseboat registration meeting in St. Tammany Parish in August.

The public is invited to attend the meeting that will take place on Aug. 17 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at an LDWF facility located at 67835 Hwy. 41, Pearl River, LA 70452.

LDWF personnel will be on hand at the meeting to explain the rules for non-motorized houseboats, how to register these vessels and answer questions.
