LDWF Reopens Hogpen and Ross Roads on Richard K. Yancey WMA

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) has re-opened Hogpen Road and Ross Road on the Richard K. Yancey Wildlife Management Area (WMA).

The following roads remain closed: Lac a Solstein, Blount, Catfish Bayou and Dobbs Bay roads. All roads on the WMA’s Mississippi River batture remain closed. Once the water recedes, LDWF will inspect, repair and reopen those thoroughfares. 

Richard K. Yancey WMA is located approximately 35 miles south of Ferriday on Louisiana Highway 15 in lower Concordia Parish.
