The Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Commission approved a notice of intent (NOI) during its January 2024 meeting Thursday (Jan. 4) to establish regulations for ecotours on Pearl River and Maurepas Swamp Wildlife Management Areas (WMAs).
The NOI will establish a process whereby permitted ecotours would be allowed in order to provide this recreational activity in a manner consistent with and conducive to WMA management.
