LWFC Approves Resolution Adding 80 Acres to Joyce Wildlife Management Area

The Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Commission (LWFC) approved a resolution to add 80 acres to the Joyce Wildlife Management Area, located in Tangipahoa Parish, during its March meeting Thursday (March 3) in Baton Rouge.

The addition of the land, known as the Coats Tract and acquired in December of 2021, will bring acreage of Joyce WMA to more than 41,800.
