LWFC Passes a Notice of Intent to Update the Domesticated Aquatic Organism Permit Fees

The Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Commission approved a Notice of Intent (NOI) to update the Domesticated Aquatic Organism (DAO) Permit fees.

The NOI proposes to change fees related to DAO permits to match state law.  The DAO permit increases from $15 to $20 for residents and from $400 to $500 for non-residents.  The permit fee will be set at $100 for species culture permits and $50 for all other DAO-related permits. The fee on Triploid Grass Carp sales permits decreases from $250 to $100.
