The Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Commission adopted a notice of intent (NOI) at their Aug. 6 meeting that would establish regulations for blinds used for waterfowl hunting on Saline Lake and Northwest Louisiana Game and Fish Preserves.
If finally adopted, the regulations presented by the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) would allow the commissions established for each preserve to administer regulations relative to waterfowl hunting blind use on each preserve.
Comments on the details of the NOI will be accepted through Nov. 4, 2015. Comments should be mailed to Steve Smith, Wildlife Management Area Program Manager, P.O. Box 98000, Baton Rouge, LA 70898-9000 or ssmith@wlf.la.gov .
