Public Meeting Scheduled for Anacoco and Vernon Lakes

The Vernon Parish Game and Fish Commission and Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries have scheduled a public meeting to discuss future drawdowns of Anacoco Lake and fisheries management of both Anacoco and Vernon Lake. The meeting will be held on November 17 at 6:30 p.m. at the Vernon Parish Fairgrounds. Anyone that is interested in future management of these two lakes is encouraged to attend. 

The Vernon Parish Fairgrounds are located at 267 H. M. Stevens Blvd, Leesville, LA 71446.

COVID-19 prevention measures will be observed during the meeting. Attendees are asked to wear facemasks and practice social distancing.
