Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) enforcement agents cited a New Orleans man for alleged littering violations on Aug. 8 in Orleans Parish.

LDWF agents cited Kim K. Bell, 59, for gross littering.

Agents were on patrol when they found an abandoned 16-foot vessel off Hwy. 11 in Bayou Sauvage National Wildlife Refuge in Orleans Parish.  After investigating, agents determined the vessel belonged to Bell.

Gross littering carries up to a $900 fine, 30 days in jail and 16 hours of community service in a litter abatement program.

Agents participating in the case are Agent Mason Castello and Sgt. Thomas Wolf.
