Boyce Tower Road in Maurepas Swamp Wildlife Management Area Has Been Closed Until Further Notice

Boyce Tower Road in the Maurepas Swamp Wildlife Management Area has been closed due to potential weather impacts from Hurricane Laura. LDWF will inspect the roads and reopen them when deemed safe for travel.

Maurepas Swamp WMA, which consists of 112,615 acres, is located approximately 25 miles west of New Orleans and along the south shore of Lake Maurepas west to near Sorrento.
