Dove Season At Pointe-aux-Chenes WMA Closed Until Further Notice, LDWF Announces

Dove hunting at Pointe-aux-Chenes Wildlife Management Area (WMA) will not be permitted until further notice due to severe damage to the WMA from Hurricane Ida, the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) announced.

The first split of dove season opens throughout Louisiana on Saturday (Sept. 4).
