The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) will close the Bayou des Sot Bridge on Nov. 18-19 in Grassy Lake Wildlife Management Area (WMA) for repairs. Bayou des Sot Bridge is located just east of the Bayou Natchitoches concrete bridge.
Once the bridge is replaced with a culvert, LDWF will inspect and reopen the crossing when it is safe for travel.
Grassy Lake WMA is located in northeastern Avoyelles Parish, approximately 12 miles from Bordelonville.
